z690 MSI VR VOUT?

I was just wondering if there was a reason VR VOUT isn't present on the Z690 MSI boards so we can see die sense vcore readings like we have done so on previous generation boards.

Right now I'm on a Unify-X and I do not see a read out for it.

Thank you.

It's by design - either the PWM/VRM controller doesn't support monitoring or the interface is not exposed.

Hey, I can see in the beta it was added. Just wondering what changed to allow for VR VOUT to be possible now :) Super happy, thanks.

Yes, support for VRMs on several new MSI mainboards has been added recently.

Yes I realise this. What I meant was, I am curious what actually changed to allow for it to be monitored now though. e.g. Did someone work to release a renesas "hack", similar to how DDR5 renesas PMICs have been hacked to allow for unlocking? etc.

Thanks for the info in advance.

I'm sorry but I cannot disclose further details about this. You'll have to just enjoy the new support :D
