CPU Die (average) on 7800X3D and ASUS Mainboard

I don't see any extreme CPU Die (average) value on the above screenshot. For very high values see: https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/threads/hwinfo64-cpu-die-average-spike.8044/

Wrong Vcore, IVR, VRM (VOUT), POUT, IOUT values on idle/light load

This is unfortunately the way how ASUS boards report it. For example IOUT is reported as an integer number, so it can't properly reflect <1 A values and reports 0 A in such case. Same for POUT.

    HWinfo and BIOS instability

Are you running ASUS AI Suite? That could be conflicting with HWiNFO especially for EC. Can you determine whether the problem is Drive Scan or SMBus? Which of them needs to be disabled?

    Asus b760-i + i7-13700k - instant 100 C in stress test

Improper application of thermal paste or insufficient cooler?

Why does 2 identical memory sticks show differently?

Because slot naming and location is mainboard specific and the BIOS doesn't provide enough details to properly link an SPD address to a specific slot. Unless all modules have a serial number.

Sensors for Broadcom/LSI HBA and Raid Controllers

Which exact data are you missing? Those controllers are proprietary and most probably have limited support in HWiNFO.

    HWinfo and BIOS instability

Try to enable one of those settings back, e.g. Drive Scan so we know which one was causing it.

Why does 2 identical memory sticks show differently?

HWiNFO can properly assign a module to memory slot on mainboard (e.g. [P0 CHANNEL A/DIMM 1]) reliably only for modules that contain a valid serial number.

    HWinfo.exe icon missing

Then please post a screenshot of your HWiNFO installation folder in Program Files (by default: "C:\Program Files\HWiNFO64\").

    HWinfo and BIOS instability

Hmm, this is very strange and I have to admit that I have no idea why this is happening. Try to disable some other things in main setting of HWiNFO like Drive Scan, SMBus support to see if any of those will make a difference.

    Warning! Calm down

    HWinfo.exe icon missing

Just to make it clear - you're talking about this main HWiNFO icon, not the sensor icon in tray?

    HWinfo and BIOS instability

In main settings of HWiNFO, it's enabled by default.

    HWinfo and BIOS instability

Try to completely disable EC Support in HWiNFO.

    HWinfo and BIOS instability

So these problems happen only if you run HWiNFO? If yes, how long do you need to run HWiNFO for the problem to happen? You might also try to disable EC Support or the ASUS EC sensor in HWiNFO if that will help.

lenovo ideapad 15ARH015 might be power braking

Then you need to check other limits (best those in %) if any of them reaches >=100%.

Make HWiNFO runnable under a limited account, please!

Again - removing THAT code would mean a drastically reduced feature set. None of the sensor features you're asking for would be possible to read. Feature-wise it would be something similar to Task Manager, maybe even less.

lenovo ideapad 15ARH015 might be power braking

You need to watch the sensors screen to determine what's going on. Notebooks can reduce performance/clocks also based on so-called skin-temperature limits (e.g. that your keyboard won't become too hot due to heat transfer from hot components inside).

OK, just for the record - the original thread title was "What is wrong with this developer?". But I appreciate that you changed the title at least. Now to summarize this - tools like HWiNFO need Admin rights as they need to access hardware directly. Without this, the provided results would be...
