    Ohh I see, and one last thing, is it possible to set a fan curve to adjust the speed by the temperature instead of just the fixed 3 rpms (off, low, high)? If you understand me. Thanks!

    Ohh thanks so much for your info! Also, does hwinfo's control mechanism reset to system default once I close the app? Like the custom auto or set manual fan speed or does it stay there?

    I have a dell 3640 precision PC, the system always overheats especially the cpu, so I just wanted to try out but I'm afraid of messing up the cooling mechanism automation of the system itself. Thanks!
