    The program won't run because it won't/can't install your/it's driver. I've never 'ran' the program. What's with this SHA256 signing?? More M$ crap?

    Sorry, I misread your OP. There is no standard and many 3rd party F/W replacements. It's a detached piece of equipment from the PC, I suppose it could be possible, but surely not easy. Frankly, it would be easier to secure a remote thermal sensor of a indoor/outdoor thermometer inside the Router...

    Can't those temps be read within the Routers F/W page? They are available with dd-wrt's F/W.
