Reactivation is not a problem, actually. Just not going for it in the nearest future. At least now I know what's the source of these freezes.

Checked my office PC. It was using the same driver version 11.2. Hitachi's S.M.A.R.T. caused heavy freezes, Seagate's – no freezes, but still significant CPU usage. Updated driver to 12.8 – no freezes and CPU usage went down to 0.4% (but it's a dual-core machine; should be 0.2% on a quad core...

Ok, it's really S.M.A.R.T. "sensors" of HDDs. Each adds approx. 5% CPU usage on scan. SSD "sensor" has no impact. 20% CPU on scan is kind of extreme. Weird. It worked fine before. I have also noticed the same change of behavior on another system (my office PC) with one Hitachi HDD (and one...

Since 4.24 I'm experiencing heavy freezes while HWiNFO performs the sensor scan. 4.22 is fine, 4.25 beta is not. Seems something was changed. Tried disabling sensors 1-by-1, got no effect. Compared the settings GUI in 4.22 and 4.24, found the difference in "CPU clock measurement" block...

Well, it's "ASUS P8P67 EC". So, it seems that if there were any freezes on amd platform, they have not been caused by hwinfo. The most strange thing is that I'm experiencing freezes only with one game.

Got some kind of the described problem, but... When I run simultaneously hwinfo and dead island, the game renderer freezes every time hwinfo is reading the sensors. Have not seen such a behavior in any other game. Also, when I was running an amd platform, freezes were not that annoying. I've...

    HWiNFO32 not detecting second Optiarc.

Well, I've got the latest AHCI drivers installed. Can try controller set up in "native IDE" or RAID mode, but don't really want to. There are two strange SATA ports in SB750, numbered #4 and #5. Ports #0..#3 can be set up in one of the three modes ("native ide", "ahci", "raid"), then #4 and #5...

    HWiNFO32 not detecting second Optiarc.

Yes, one of the three HDS5C is missing. Probably, the one attached to port #4 of SB750. I've just attached the 5th HDD to port #5, it was detected by the program. However, it has very basic description (maybe, it's not fully described in your DB; it's another one Hitachi — HDS721010CLA332)...

    HWiNFO32 not detecting second Optiarc.

HWiNFO64 not detecting third 5k3000 Probably, the same problem. Or maybe not — all of 5k3000 have got unique serial numbers. Also, the report configurator is way too weird. Wanted to report only storage subsystem, had to click every damn checkbox, and then it just ignored...

Incorrect fan speed readings on ASUS M4N98TD EVO

And are there really any RAID drivers that report S.M.A.R.T. attributes of disk drives? My AMD controller does not report that too. So I always thought, that S.M.A.R.T. is available only in IDE/AHCI modes.

Thank you. Finally, I've measured -12V with the help of multimeter. It's really -12V and has nothing common with the readings from ITE. I've measured other voltages before just to know how accurate their readings were. Pretty accurate.

Alright, here we go... As we both knew, there are only two temperatures. And as we both know, there are more sensors available to the installed ITE8720. I also know that the third sensor is bogus on MA770 motherboards, and still I think that on MA790 it's not. Interestingly enough, BIOS setup...

    A kind of improvement request

Hello. I know, sensor monitoring for GA-MA790 was implemented long ago, and even was improved in version 3.30. But I'm new to the program, and I was used to use HWMonitor. Don't like the way it changed with the last two versions and found HWiNFO.Still, I'd like to see HWiNFO32/64 monitoring...
