Hello, I have a problem, HWiNFO64 v.7.60-5170 shows all core clocks only up to 4,753.2 MHz, I tested it in CPU-Z, and they are normal up to 5,050 MHz. I have Windows 10, AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, MSI MPG X670E CARBON WIFI
It has become a common practice for several years to report instant (discrete) clock values for CPUs. This method is based on knowledge of the actual bus clock (BCLK) and sampling of core ratios at specific time points. The resulting clock is then a simple result of ratio * BCLK. Such approach...
mostly means it cant boost higher because of some limitation, power limit, temp limit. the 7800x3d cant boost all cores to 5050 with 100% load under full power or specific computations.
