CPU Package Power incorrectly read

Hello HWinfo forums!

I've really loved your software for ages but I've run into an odd CPU Package Power reading issue recently, HWmonitor also has this issue. I'm curious if what I'm experiencing is related to the software, BIOS, drivers, etc.

I've got a i7-7820X on a Asus Rampage VI Apex running Windows 10 with BIOS version: 1004

At all times, regardless of load, CPU Package reads around 1.174W to 1.215W. This is an oddly low reading and I'm curious why this is.

I will post a screenshot of the HWinfo's readings as well as a .DBG file (Having trouble uploading the .DBG file, I'm trying to add it as an attachment but it doesn't seem to take?)

Please let me know if you need any more information from me

Please check your BIOS settings - if SVID Support is disabled (which is sometimes used by overclockers) then CPU Power measurement cannot work.

Hello Martin,

Thanks for the quick reply, that was my issue. I re-enabled SVID support and it now reads correctly.

Thanks Martin!
