Does MMX benchmark test SSSE3, SSE4.1, or SSE4.2?

I ran the HWinfo32 v372beta benchmark against my Phenom II 955BE, and some of the results baffled me.

955BE outperforms Core 2 Duo E6700 by a large margin in CPU and FPU Benchmarks, but gets nudged in MMX Benchmark test. Here are the scores:

I have run benchmark tests twice to confirm this unexplainable result. I can't think of a good reason to explain except maybe this MMX benchmark test is heavily weighed in on the SSSE3, SSE4.1, or SSE4.2?
 
MMX benchmark doesn't test SSE, it's a pure MMX instruction set.
Since you CPU is a Quad-core, then it's obvious that it outperforms a Dual-Core CPU, because the benchmark users resources of all available cores.
If you want to test a pure core performance, then you should run the benchmark in single-threaded mode.
 
If MMX test has nothing to do with SSSE3, SSE4.1, or SSE4.2 extension, then do you have any ideas on the HWinfo MMX benchmark scores where E6700 nudged 955BE?
