HWInfo32 is an indispensable utility for me because this is the only windows utility that allows to read SMART attributes from drives in Intel Matrix RAID array. Without any hassle with booting to DOS, breaking the array, switching to IDE mode, etc.
However, SSD drives assign somewhat different meanings to SMART attributes, which makes it a little cumbersome - I usually have to save CSV with SMART reports and replace attribute names with proper ones.
It would be awesome if HWInfo32 could detect well-known SSD models and adjust SMART attribute descriptions based on chipset used. For example, SMART attributes for Indilinx-based SSDs - <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/f...-Indilinx-based-drives-(Agility-Vertex-Solid2">http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum ... tex-Solid2</a><!-- m -->)
Keep up the good work!
