Gpu memory controller usage greyed out

i have a rx 580 using driver version 21.3.1, when i choose any of the amd memory timings which are in the performance - tuning section in radeon software and stress the gpu, the memory controller usage in hwinfo greys out and then keeps disappearing and appearing, when i stop stressing the gpu, it returns back to normal, what is causing this?

Grey color indicates the sensor doesn't provide valid data.

but this happens only with amd's timings with stressing, if i don't use those timings or use them without stressing, the usage is not greyed out, it reports correctly
