HWiNFO64 Opening on startup when disabled

Whenever I log into windows, the main window for HWiNFO64 (the one with the system information, not sensors or system summary) automatically opens.

I have auto run disabled, I have "Autorun=0" in the HWiNFO64.INI file, it is not in my windows startup programs seen in task manager, and this issue persists across an uninstall and re-install of HWiNFO64.

I don't know where else to look for settings and configuration to try and debug this, so if anyone knows where some deeper hidden settings are located that would be greatly appreciated!

Try to look in the Windows Task Scheduler.

Well you were exactly right, there was a task in there for windows logon. I didn't even know this tool existed...
