EDIT: Im able to successfully run hwinfo now. But everytime i click to see the sensor readings the program "stops responding" and I have to task manager end it.
[attachment=3522]Hi guys, I just installed my ryzen 5 3600x and a new crosshair vi hero with a fresh install of windows 10.
I am trying to open up hwinfo, but it is stuck on "detecting cpu" and then task manager says this program has stopped responding.
Also hwmonitor does the exact same thing, but cpu-z works.
Is there something in windows 10 default firewall or security I need to allow? This is a fresh install of windows and my bios is also set to auto right now too.
I tried disabling SW SMI, i disabled SMART scan, and im still in safe mode in sata settings. I have also uninstalled and re-installed the program as well.
Attached below is the debug
