Hello,
Recently did a full scan via the stock Windows Security software for the first time and my CPU usage peaked at nearly 97%. I'm on a 3900x, but I don't think the processor's specs would matter THAT much in this context, provided it would be a fairly modern chip. I was just wondering if high CPU usage, especially to this extent, is normal when doing a full virus scan? The extremely high peak shown below wasn't sustained and these high usage peaks did not occur on the quick scan. I'm on the latest Windows build.
