License notification after reverting to free

I bough a license for Pro because I wanted to support the project and of course having shared memory support all the time is a plus.

Times are now tight and I am having to discontinue many of the subscriptions that I've had. I decided for now to revert back to the free license of HWINFO until I can afford it again.

After deleting the version I had installed and removing all traces that I could find of it on my computer, then reinstalling the app, I still get the popup telling me that my license doesn't cover this version of hwinfo. The license management screen says no license and non commercial use only, but on start it still acts like it's got an invalid license.

I just want to use the regular free version again without this nag screen every time i start my computer. Is this possible?

Just delete the "HWiNFO64_KEY.txt" file in the HWiNFO64 folder.

I tried that before. That's why I uninstalled the app and deleted all traces i could find of the app and its folders. But for some reason it came back immediately upon reinstall. It seems to have actually worked this time though. No Idea what happened before.
