Nowadays games and applications, as well as users when this cannot be done automatically, changes those parameters quite often according to specific applications needs. I am speaking about
Screen resolution
Monitor refresh rate (e.g. 60hz 70hz 100hz 120hz 144hz )
Bit per channel (e.g. 8bit 10bit 12bit)
Color format space (e.g. RGB, RGB limited, YCbCr 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:2:2, YCbCr 4:2:0)
HDR (on or off or even the HDR implementation like BT2020 Dolby Vision)
Monitor refresh rate sync mode (like nvidia Gsync or amd FreeSync or HDMI VRR)
I don't know actually if OS allows to read back such settings, but for sure some of them yes. Would be possible to see those measures in the sensor list ?
thanks for your help
