Sensors without a user being logged on

Is it possible to run the program to monitor sensors without having any users logged on? I have a scenario where a computer runs as an edge server collecting and processing data. I would like to use HwInfo to collect data about the computer itself, but no user will log on. All other applications run at startup or as services.

Thanks.

You might try to configure HWiNFO for Auto Start which will create a dedicated task in Windows Task Scheduler and then adjust the task properties to run under a specific (but Administrator) account but I'm not sure if this will work especially for version 8.00 and later.

Thanks, Martin. I have tried several things including your suggestion, but no joy with version 8.x. I guess it's because of the way the new sensor OSD works?

Would you consider developing a version that would support this scenario? Either an installation option or a separate version? I currently subscribe to the licensed version but would be willing to pay extra, or for a different app. Perhaps there are others as well...

If there will be a reasonable demand, then it would be considered.
Did versions prior to 8.00 work for you?

Yes, version 7.72 does work for me, and that is how I've built my solution. Obviously, I can't take advantage of any updates.

Martin, thank you for taking the time to do this for me. Testing complete, it works perfectly! The only issue I had (not really an issue) was I discovered that the setting "Show Sensors at Startup" had to be enabled for shared memory to work. This is probably documented somewhere, I just wasn't aware.

I am very grateful, thank you! Hopefully you can turn this into a product at some point.

Thanks for your feedback.
It depends on the demand - if it will be significant, such builds can be released regularly.
