VPN Detection

Is it possible to detect if a VPN is active?

I need to suspend my VPN for certain programs, and being of the senior citizen quality, sometimes forget to restart the VPN.
If HWiNfo were able to detect VPN status, I could have aquasuite display a flag depending on status.

In the attached debug file I started with the VPN (NordVPN) active, and deactivated/activated it a few times over a 2 or 3 minute period.

I'm sorry, but HWiNFO really isn't a tool for such features.

I did not think so, but thought I would ask.
Just looking for tools to help.
