Why Does HWInfo Only Report 2 GPU Fans?

just wondering why HWInfo only reports 2 out of 3 of my GPU fans on my Gigabyte RTX 3070 Eagle?

cooling is perfectly fine and I am confident all 3 fans are spinning. is 1 of the fans 'uncontrollable' or governed by the other 2, and thus isn't reported or something?

MSI Afterburner just doesn't show my fans in general, so I can't really check there. but I usually see people with only 2 fans reported here as well
 
Most likely because your 3rd fan is driven at the same speed as the second one and it doesn't support individual control. Only few GPUs allow separate control of the 3rd fan.
