windows 11 and HWinfo64

this is not a problem for hwinfo64 but for most other 3rd party monitoring apps
why is that hwinfo64 can measure the cpu and ram specs right and apps like cpu-z,aida64,geekbench5 can't
I have a asus strix z590-e board with a 11900k cpu
it measures the bus clock speed at 13.1MHz
cpu clock speed at 694MHz and ram at 294MHz
hwinfo measures them CORRECTLY though
the rest of them don't
what does hwinfo64 do that the rest don't ??
btw ,windows task manager measures them correctly as well
Thank you
this is only in windows 11

I don't know, can't speak about other tools as I'm not familiar with their internals.
But there have already been reports of issues in HWiNFO as well measuring BCLK on Win11. There seems to be something in the system blocking access to certain CPU features that allow precise BCLK reporting.

I guess if an app can't read the bclk ,then everything else will be off too
Thank you

funny thing just happened
asus just issued a MEI firmware update and when I installed it
the cpu clocks in the other 3rd party apps I mentioned above
went from 694 MHz to 91.3
bclk went form 13.1 to 1.8
crazy
