windows8.1 hwinfo64 bit crash.

Hey guys , in a bit of a rush but just thought i would post to let you guys know there is a bug which crashes my whole pc when opening hwinfo 64 bit while watching ANY media player. Tried Media player classic, windows media player and the default one in windows 8.1. All play fine until i start hwinfo64 bit then system locks up and i have to reset or turn off power to restart. Hope you guys can get it sorted. PEACE!

Which GPU do you have? Have you tried the latest version of HWiNFO (v4.30) ? That version should fix a similar problem when using and AMD GPU.
Also, please attach the HWiNFO Debug File from the crash.

Hey, sorry for the delayed reply, i'm running with a r9 290, i updated hwinfo and problem does not exist anymore. You guys are champs, cheers.
