Just got a new gaming PC and setting up my HWInfo64 setup, when I noticed there was no GPU info available (rtx5080). I'm sure it something I've done on my end so was looking for some help. Thanks!

I noticed when HWInfo64 is running the "System" service is utilizing a high disk usage (but low CPU) which causes the fans to drastically increase. When I close Hwinfo64 everything goes back to quite and idle. This did not used to happen as far as I remember. I am on latest (non-beta) version...

ok update: before starting sensors I unchecked the SMART setting. it still took a long time to start up (much longer than normal), but once the sensors are fired up it seems to be refreshing at a normal pace now

is that in the settings? yeah I don't care about not monitoring hard drives I only use CPU and GPU stats. How can I disable HWinfo64 from looking at hard drives at all?

HWInfo64 works great normally. However when I have my gaming external SSD plugged in (USB-C or USB-A) it takes several minutes to start up (stuck at Detecting ATA/SCSI Drives...), and then does not show the graphs correctly (refresh rate for graph draw is like every 20 seconds). Obviously there...

that didn't work unfortunately. nothing happened when i pressed Ins. how can I do a full reset of the program and all settings? even if I download a new version it still seems to know what the previous settings are. I wand to do a full reset, and this time I'll allow EC sensors

When first activating HWInfo64 sensors, it warned me of EC sensors so I clicked disable. However this disabled monitoring of my CPU and GPU fans so I want to re-enable this again. I go to main settings -> safety -> EC support, however this is already checked and doesn't appear to do anything...

So I ended up getting it to work, but only after disabling the auto-arrange function. once i could manually re-arrange the sensors I was able to get the log to output what I wanted

thanks for your response. however i'm a little confused as I posted a screenshot in the op of my "customize" page showing I have all logs (except GPU temps) set to "No". Which, I think, is the exact thing you said to do. Did I post the correct thing here?

I'm wanting to only log the GPU temps and fans. I've gone through and disabled all other entries. However when opening the log file it seems everything except the GPU temps are being logged. I've attached the most recent log file for reference. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
