Not related to HWiNFO directly but to solve PCI errors I did the following (Intel B760, GTX 1060, Intel 12th)
Boot into BIOS
Go to ASPM settings for PEG, PCH, etc.
Select L1 only for every category if possible (L0s can cause problems and even lower FPS in MSI Kombustor)
PCI Express Native Power...
I know that polling S.M.A.R.T. information can be quiet long (couple ms per poll according HWiNFO64 Profiling Time column) so i have set it to every 4 cycles.
But in the graph (Drive Temperature 2 for example) you can see that in fact temperature is polled every second. This happens only for...
That sounds interesting! Will try what happens when disabling window shadows in control panel -> system settings. First i thought the new graph shading was the issue but row shading was already there for much longer time without issues.
It seems that the Rust implementation of Windows 11 Kernel causes problems. This does not happen on my Desktop computer though.

This issue is since Windows 11 24H2 is out, the GPU driver is the same on my machine. I have WinDbg which shows that HWiNFO triggered BSOD, but the rest of the dump seems more to hint to a wrong memory access. There seems to be an interaction with the GPU driver. What is weird is that disabling...
I have the latest HWinfo version 8.14. Since version 8.0 many users get BSODs. At least in my case the tooltips when hovering mouse over sensor text seems to trigger bluescreens. I have i7-4950u with 4400 HD graphics. I can provide the dumpfile from bsod if that helps. Or maybe enabling debug...
For future readers: disabling the option "show tooltips" solved any bluescreens while sensors window was open. Moving the mouse to any text with tooltips enabled instantly triggers BSOD.
