    CPU package power reads high

I think I have seen values in the 10-11 W range for Package Power under load. I can't recall the specific conditions, though I thought it came and went with different HWINFO versions. However, I seem to have misinterpreted what Package Power refers to. I had the idea that it was the power of the...

    CPU package power reads high

HWINFO is reporting CPU Package Power higher than CPU power: 115 W vs 99 W. This has not always been the case. The current value is roughly 10x the expected. .dbg file attached. I have seen references to Reports, as well, but have not figured out how to generate. Thanks! EDIT: This is an Asus...

    HWinfo64 freeze pc

"..... when you reboot after the hang, HWiNFO starts automatically again and overwrites the DBG file from previous hang." That is a valuable piece of info for a perpetual tinkerer, like me.

Asus Z170 Mk1 assistant fans + voltage readiings

:) Yes! 5 and 6 appeared. It may be irrelevant now, but I am including the debug report from the current version. Many Thanks! You are really fast, too. It is all much appreciated. ktony

Asus Z170 Mk1 assistant fans + voltage readiings

You are right. I misstated. 5 and 6 were the only fans added. I am now running hwi_584, but it has not changed anything. Chassis 2 & 4, plus Assistants 1 & 2 are still there. Uninstall-reinstall, with reboot didn't help. Thanks for taking time for this.

Asus Z170 Mk1 assistant fans + voltage readiings

Hi Martin, I have run into some other fan problems. Previously, I only had fans at Chassis2 and Chassis4, which display properly. I recently added fans to Chassis 3, 5, and 6, but they are not showing up in HWINFO. Is there a fix for this? Thanks, ktony

Asus Z170 Mk1 assistant fans + voltage readiings

The 3426 build is also working. EDIT: When I set the Refresh interval to match the 3000ms in the Gadget, the right-hand part of the Gadget display disappeared again. This takes out the decimal places and the units. Screenshot attached. More: Here are the current Debug and Report. Please...

Asus Z170 Mk1 assistant fans + voltage readiings

In the past, I have been able to get the Assistant Fans 1 & 2 to display in HWIFO and in the Sensor Status gadget. I have gone through reinstalling HWINFO, which didn't resolve the issue.  I then Clean Booted into Windows and uninstalled HWINFO with Revo Uninstaller and followed with JV16...
