I understand and that's why I didn't hesitate too long to spend a few euros for your good job ! ;)
I configured the OSD to find my gaming display preferences and I wanted to suggest some improvements that were present on OSD RTSS and which are missing in the Hwinfo OSD:
1) The text should...
Yes, but I would have preferred a much cheaper lifetime license in the long term for my simple use of 5 additional OSDs.
Either way, you win in the end. I just paid for a subscription.
You are clever. :D
Hi Martin,
I use Hwinfo + RTSS to display 10 sensors during games.
I wanted to do without RTSS but the free version of Hwinfo only offers a maximum of 5 OSD elements. Which is very insufficient for gamers.
I wanted to buy a pro license.
But honestly €118.72 just to display 5 additional...
Good !
To test your games, I advise you to start by coloring the interesting values to monitor in HWinfo.
Then install Riva Tuner Statistic Server (RTSS) to display these values in the game (TDP, Temp, etc.)
In HWinfo you will be able to configure RTSS for each value to get the display and...
It's not normal that your temperature does not drop when you lower the CPU TDP...
In Ghelper, don't forget to check "apply limit" after applying a CPU limit.
Some models also need to check "apply curve" for the limit to work.
Try resetting windows power plan to defaults

Hi,
The first thing to do is clean your fans.
Since 2022, dust must prevent good cooling.
I do it every 3-4 months.
La deuxième chose que je conseillerais est de désinstaller Armory Crate. Il exécute plusieurs processus et services et utilise les ressources de votre ordinateur portable...
Yes, Ghelper rounds fan speeds to the nearest hundred, as Martin says.
If you didn't know, you can remove the thousands separator from the sensor to have a whole number in Hwinfo. ;)
Hi and happy new year. :)
No problem here, it's just for understanding.
I noticed something strange in HWinfo when I manually apply a CPU limit on PL1 and PL2.
As soon as the limits are applied, the dynamic PL1 & PL2 values displayed are relatively high for my processor.
In windows power mode...
Hi,
Drag and drop a Hwinfo64 shortcut in the Windows Startup folder.
C:\Users\*yourname*\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\
This should work.
Hi,
I noticed that the RTSS sensor is missing if RivaTuner is not started.
To display RTSS, I have to exit and restart HWinfo.
Is this normal behavior or is there an option to have RTSS display all the time ?
Hi Martin,
I tested version 7.66, Thanks for that.
There is 1 small bug.
Hwinfo started with CPU and GPU fans: Nothing is displayed (?)
Start Fan CPU and GPU -> The values appear, it's perfect ! :)
Debug file :
I need to rename: “ASUS NB EC: ASUS ASUS TUF Gaming F17 FX707ZM_TUF707ZM”
by “Fans” for example
Another thing, when the fans are at 0RPM and I start HWINFO64 the values are not displayed :
Debug file :
Yeah it's perfect! :D
I have to rename the title, but that's a detail.
Ah .... When the fans are at 0 RPM, HWinfo64 displays a minimum value but not 0 RPM (?)
The values are frozen at 476RPM and 842 RPM
Thank you very much for taking your time for this.
Have a nice day.
