OK, so I've been monitoring and logging for the last day, and the SSDs show normal values. However, I did notice weird reporting on the Effective Clocks, they were stuck to 0. Restarting HWinfo fixed it. There's a chance it was related to the PC entering sleep. This time I also have a rather...
I had to restart HWinfo to enable the debug mode so those values went away, the screenshot was taken before. Gonna restart it again and let it run in the debug mode for the rest of the night, in case this occurs again. The 2 HDDs seem to have been spared.
Thanks for the new Beta. Noticed some weird readings for my 2 Samsung SSDs, an older 850 Evo and a 970 Evo Plus. Haven't seen this in older versions of HWinfo, I am quite sure. I'm attaching a screenshot and the report/debug. Thanks a lot!
I'm reluctant to report this as a Hwinfo bug, I understand that it might be caused by a number of things. In short, I've noticed yesterday that my 1070ti spiked quite high with its 100% Power Limit in place (i.e. 180W, it was never exact, but the spikes would never be above 192W, and...
Thanks, found it for my 8700K. I expected the "perf #1-2" cores to boost the highest on lighter loads if I keep the CPU at stock, but actually on my CPU it's the perf #4-5 cores that seem to get first to 46x-47x, sometimes at a lower listed VID too.
Does anyone know what exactly this change log entry is:
Added reporting of Favored Cores List for Intel CPUs.
And where is it found, or for which Intel CPUs is it available? @Martin, if you have the time, any details please?
Thanks a lot.
One by one:
- driver version is 417.22 from a few days ago. DCH version, clean install after Safe Mode DDU, in case it matters. I've been told it's the same file structure.
- no NVSMI folder in C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation. Only thing named NVSMI is an inf in c:\Program Files\NVIDIA...
Turbo Attenuation and max Turbo Limit are on if you run stock and don't stress test, it's basically the CPU respecting it's turbo bins and idle power saving states.
The Ring...PL4 limit is likely you having Power Limits set in BIOS and the CPU hitting those. Remove the PLs to stop power...
Hello and thanks for the Beta.
I vaguely remember that on the GPU section, there used to be a Power Consumption type of entry, in Watts. It is missing in the last 2 Betas, I still see it in GPU-Z however. I could be remembering wrong, but if I'm not, mind bringing it back? I like the Watt...
Unsure I have another fan in the house. I would have to unscrew one of the case fans which I might be a bit too lazy to do :P If I find another fan I'll open the case and blow it on the VRM area, and return with numbers.
