    Latest CPU vulnerability discussion

I was wondering what this community thought of the latest security vulnerability, especially with Intel (but apparently effects many others). Source link, probably the most informative one that actually tells you what it means for literally every computer...

    High memory usage

Hello, I noticed in his screenshots he has a fair bit of OSD, Graphics card, and other potentially conflicting softwares that may play part in the leakage. MSI Gaming app, AMD Relive software, Rainmeter, Relive, etc.... I'm wondering if the fault has purely been other drivers and software...

    High memory usage

Out of curiosity, can you run the latest DDU in safe mode, then re download your drivers? If the option on the installer for you drivers has a "Clean install" option, do select it as well. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

[Suggestion/Request] System time in OSD (RTSS)

Hmm, that's not the interface that I remember. I'll install RTSS later and get back to you. If I can't find it, I'll play with a plugin that might be out there to see if it works.

[Suggestion/Request] System time in OSD (RTSS)

You can add that manually via RTSS settings, IIRC HWiNFO just integrates it's sensors labels/values as OSD items, else can be added manually.

Very high VIN7 voltage reported. What is it?

Seems like a tradition if there's a generic label issue the dev ends up wanting a debug file, so to get you started so he wont have to wait and ask when the he's around. https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/Thread-IMPORTANT-Read-this-before-submitting-a-report

    Help with sensor log

This log is useless since I don't know what conditions it was ran under, and the polling rate is too high. 250-500ms is generally better. You can try this if you want: https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/Thread-Fully-Automated-Hwinfo-Logging-Stress-Testing-Script-Uploader Optionally you can...

MSI X99 GAMING PRO CARBONE ring/sa voltages

RE: MSI X99 GAMING PRO CARBONE He'd probably like the debug file. See: https://www.hwinfo.com/forum/Thread-IMPORTANT-Read-this-before-submitting-a-report It'll give him some information to work off of.

    Include valid license? [Suggestion]

I've noticed there's not any documentation that I can find on licensing in this product. I propose the suggestion of adding a License.txt to secure any legal or copyright issues. The most you can find on restrictions/permissions is: HWiNFO32 is FREEWARE and free distributable as-is. Any...

    Question on config portability

Ah, I see. Any chance in the future of configuring for generic sensor labels via .ini file? I mean, technically it'd be possible right? For hypothetical example in the .ini: +12v Rail: 12vAlertEnabled=1 12vAlertBelowValue= 12vAlertAboveValue=1. 12vAlertDispWindow=1...

    Question on config portability

I'm having trouble finding out how the settings work in terms of portability. A lot of the more useful settings are added via registry, not by the .ini file. For example, if I wanted to customize settings to get alert notifications on other computers other than mine, I'd have to import the...

    HWiNFO32/64 v5.61-3285 Beta released

Nice, good work. It'd be great to see automatically log to .csv file when hwinfo launches feature.

    Suggestion: Auto log at launch

I'd like to see the ability to start logging on after launching hwinfo, that'd be greatly appreciated. I have trouble with AutoHotkey doing the auto-logging hotkey sometimes, removing having to send the hotkey with autohotkey automatically would make it so much easier and reliable. Here's an...
