Asus b760-i + i7-13700k - instant 100 C in stress test

I have strange issue - if i run stress test for 2-3 sec, CPU package and Core Max temp jumps to 100C almost immediately.
I removed CPU cooler to make sure its properly aligned and it is.. (was expecting poor placement)
Here are 2 screenshots - one when system is in stress test, another when its idle after test.

Is it normal (miss reporting) or something is wrong?
I have no issues playing games like crashes or etc.

Update the Bios to the latest. Asus should provide with a bios update with the recommended settings for Intel CPU. The default Asus profile makes the cpu overheat. You can read articles on the net about that.

@werty thanks! looks like its 13700k/13900k issues. those cpus eat 250-300w in stress and they do run hot 100C+ unless u do under volting mods to them.
