No, even it is running in the background this happens. I have to close the program to eject portable hard drive.

Martin HWiNFO Author Staff member Feb 28, 2014 #4 First, please try to upgrade to the latest version of HWiNFO. If the problem persists, try to start HWiNFO without opening the Sensors monitoring. Does them problem occur in this mode too?
