Concerns with Intel 265k and reporting issues......

Hi

I am using a Gigabyte Z890 Elite Aorus board with an Intel 265k running Windows 11.

I am using version 8.26 (5730) of HWiNFO.

According to Intel's spec of this CPU.....

4.6Ghz is the max turbo speed that I should be seeing for the E-Cores. However.....

I can see speeds up to 5.2Ghz for the E Cores and wondered how that could be happening..? If indeed that value is correct.

It's probably due to Turbo Boost Max 3.0 Technology which can override the maximum per-core Turbo frequency limit or Thermal Velocity Boost.

Oh my. I was not aware of that possibility. Thanks for taking the time to promptly reply.

Maybe there is something else going on as HWiNFO sees the last two E Cores as being P Cores....

(P18 and P 19), supposed to be E Cores.cores.pnginfo.png

Oh my, so I would need to make changes in the main Window of the Clocks against, probably correct order, of the one on the right showing the distance to the Tjmax......

I would need to make changes to the names of the cores on the left to be correctly identified, similar to the window on the right, as you have now explained.
Example - E Core 12 Clock is actually a P Core.

The left window should match names in the right one. If it doesn't then I suppose you have renamed them.

Yup, I had been doing that. Not sure why the names were as they had been. All seems fine now, considering how Intel have changed their core order.....(for thermal reasons as it now runs cooler)

Thanks

For some reason, fresh install of HWiNFO I have now lost "core voltage" - it was there from the first screenshot in the OP.
