Fan Speed wrong

I have a Asus Prime 370x Pro mainboard with Windows 10.
Yesterday the CPU fan was shown to rotate with 2700 RPM which
is nearly TWICE the speed it can have at PWM 100%.

So far it only happened once but I still wonder does it mean the
mainboard is damaged or is it a bug in HWiNFO64.

I don't see a reason why HWiNFO should be reporting a wrong fan speed here.
Can you please verify this using other tools (i.e. ASUS AI Suite), or in the BIOS ?
