Hi!
I recently bought the Gigabyte Aorus X870E Xtreme Ai Top and the chipset 1 is missing. Once I installed windows 11 it appear but after a couple of minutes goes away and never seen again.
I tried to figure out some bios options but I could not find any solution. I was having a look on the net and other fellows with the same board seem to not have this issue.

What can it be?

Many thanks in advance.

AMD chipset temperature measures the USB xHCI controller(s) temperature in the chipset. When the xHCI controller is not utilized (or switched off due to power management), the temperature won't be reported. This was already discussed on this forum including a solution (disable "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in Device Manager).

Many thanks Martin. You are totally right.

Any impact or risk not allowing this controller to switch off when it is not being used?

No impact other than slightly increased power consumption and/or temperature.

Hello @Martin - this is true and plugging in a USB makes chipset 1 temps appear alongside chipset 2.

However no matter what I do I can’t get my fan 8_pump to show at all, despite being plugged into fans and in use. If I enable the checkbox for show inactive fans, then it appears under EC but with zero RPM which is wrong.

Nothing else appears under EC either; even if I set all USB controllers not to power down.

Can this be fixed in HWinfo? I’ve got an x870e xtreme ai top as well.

Please attach the HWiNFO Debug File, I need to analyze that.
