HWiNFO32 hangs (Since V7.7x, portable version) on Win10(32)Pro

I tried to use (I think it was V 7.72) and it scanned the system up to "Detecting ATA/SCSI Drives), than it hung... The process couldn't be stopped neither by system (Taskmanager resp. ProcessExlorer) nor by restart of the system (means it didn't restart)...
Only a cold start could stop it... I tried also HWiNFO_773 (Beta) and V 8.0 with the same unsatisfying result.

Now I downloaded V 7.68 (paf portable) and this version seems to run errorless.
Can somebody check what is wrong with the higher versions...

I tested it with HWiNFO_773 (Beta).
After hangup I cannot access all diskdrives anymore.
