Installing 8.10 leaves 8.06 installed in Apps

When I install 8.10, the 8.06 version is still listed in Apps.

I see 2 listings, in Settings > Apps:
HWiNFO® 64 (the 8.10 version)
HWiNFO64 (the 8.06 version)

Is this expected (maybe because the app name changed)?

My workaround (to clean this up), is to uninstall both versions, then reinstall the 8.10 version.
Is that what you expect us to do?

Same issue here, this is not past behavior.
I never looked at Settings > Apps until now.
PatchMyPC indicated 8.10 was not updated when it has been updated & never saw that before.
I performed the same workaround as you & it is repaired.
Martin is usually on top of these things, maybe his situation has changed?

No, this is not expected behavior. Must be because of the name change as the installer system treats it as a different app.
I'm looking into this but don't have a solution yet other than uninstalling the previous version.
