Hi, I'm new to this forum. Can anybody explain to me how to install HWiNFO Monitor on Windows 10. The file I've downloaded is in ".gadget" format and can't be installed without Windows Sidebar(???). Also, does anybody know how to limit number of sensor values showing up on HWiNFO screen (I only need some data like CPU/GPU load, clock, memory, temps etc.)? Should I go into "Settings" and "Layout" tab? Thanks

Since Microsoft removed support for gadgets in Windows 8, you'll first need to install a 3rd party support application. There are several alternatives, some have been discussed on this forum.
You can hide any items in the sensor screen by hitting the Shift-Del key over the value or entire sensor heading.
