Memory leak (HWiNFO using 10G memory)

@Martin

RTX 3070 laptop
NVIDIA driver 461.40
HWINFO64 7.02-4430
GPU Power enabled

I am witnessing slow but steady rise in HWiNFO64.exe memory usage (20K-ish per tick). Disabling GPU Power monitoring stops the leak.

soon as I enable GPU Power the leak starts again (basically same as my video few posts above)

Hi. I have the same problem. It's not my problem, it's Nvidia problem. But... For statistic.
Rtx 2080Ti
Driver 461.72
HWINFO64 7.00-4400

Seems they broke it again in some recent version, I just found hwinfo sitting at 4G memory and the leak stops soon as I disable GPU Power, basically same as before. At this point I just removed the power stats from my rainmeter and gonna leave it disabled.

I noticed it on 466.47 and it also happens on 466.63. Out of curiosity I notice the screenshot referencing drivers 470.xx where do those come from? The latest nvidia site offers me are 466.63.

I have checked all of the 460.79 and later drivers and none of them fixed this including V470.25 (bugfix_main) which is what get's used on the latest Windows Insider Build 21390.

I just checked bug 3216492 and it now says Versions Fixed After: 460.81 (R460_00), 465.34 (R465_00), 470.23 (R470_00) and guess we just just have to keep waiting and hoping nVidia release a fixed driver

Thanks for the debug work :)
I have the exact same issue. HWinfo version 7.044480 using 1G memory overnight. I see the the memory usage going up all the time. I can also confirm that disabling GPU power monitoring solved the issue. I have NVidia driver 466.77.

Finally! For several hours I test the new version 471.11 with enabled GPU Power. Yeah, works well. Memory does not grow. Within 25-50 megabytes.
