Need help updating HWInfo

Hello wonderful people and happy holidays, but i need help i have been trying to update my HWinfo. so for some reason my HWinfo will not update at all even if i have the new .EXE file into my system my application says that i have 768 application but when i open HWinfo it says 762 and it is very weird that even with the application saying 768 it still says 762 so if anyone is able to help me out i would greatly appreciate it.

Do you maybe have two copies of HWiNFO installed in different locations?

whenever i search in my PC i can only find one i tried deleting one file that had 762 on it but it said i couldnt delete it anymore because the file location couldnt be found ]

That looks like multiple copies of HWiNFO in multiple folders.

the thing is is that when i click on any of them it just send me to my main folder and there is only 1 HWINFO on there

Could be some shortcuts or perhaps some synchronization service? I see MEGASync there.
