Hi everyone, I am facing a funny situation. I have a Dell G15 (5511) with Tiger Lake chipset, which has 20 lanes PCIe 4.0, which 16x are for GPU and 4x M.2 Slot 1. I bought a SSD T500 Crucial 1TB which is Gen4 and instaled in Slot1. I have cloned the OS from my original SSD. Here comes the funny stuff, it has numbers of Gen4, that can be seen below, but it is stated at gen3. How is that possible? Could be because SMBIOS is not proper written by the manufacturer? In HWiNFO, we can se in the SMBIOS DMI -> System Slots, there is a Slot called SSD-Gen4, but it is empty, with Base Bus:Device:Function Number: 0:28:3, which differs from PCIExpress x4 Root Port with 0:6:0 and here it is shown as Version 3.0. Sorry my HwInfo screenshots in portuguese, but I think the entries positions may be self explaining.
