Ok so here is the delimma, I have two sons the exact same age, I bought both of them the EXACT SAME ACER PREDATOR i7 Gaming Desktop units.

So baseline info we know right out of the gate exact same specs, same hard drive/ssd combo, same ram, same graphics cards, same power supply, same processors, etc, etc etc. I have to do this or I have a big ass fight I do not have time to do my work and have to deal with their bickering, etc.

So with that said, they started playing "Siege", when playing ranked mode one of their units does just fine, has zero issues. The other unit however, instead of him being able to play and let me work on real problems which deal with creating car key firmware files, etc (you know something that is super easy to be right in the middle of, break away from the office, go home and deal with whining because, "Dad I can't play my video games!!!", then turn around go back to the office and I damn near have to scrap my entire file, and start over because I have lost my complete train of thought/zen, sorry guys I got on my soap box and didn't list the problem. His unit as soon as he goes into a ranked game on Siege will maybe let him make it through one or two rounds and then out of no where the entire desktop just shuts off with no warning. We are not talking about a Blue Screen issue, flat out just turns off completely then even if you wait an entire day later it cannot be turned back on until the power supply is unplugged from the wall, and then as soon as you plug it back in the thing boots up with out hitting the power button and tries to act like nothing ever happened. Imediately my mind goes to..... it must be some sort of thermal selfprotect mode, and so I first open the enclosure and literally go as far as removing each individual fan, fan shrouds, etc, etc and eliminate each and every sign of dust, this thing looks like it came fresh off the assembly line. Well I make it back to work and before I hit the driveway I get the call it has turned off again. So now I am real good and pissed and decided he doesnt't have anything installed correctly (which of course I then was able to see that he listened to nothing I said and instead of installing everything into the more than capable M.2 SSD I told him to install everything he puts on there, he has decided to put everything into c:/ with his operating system, etc and has a completely 100% available SSD. I also notice some signs of things I consider virus/malware. I ask him if he still plays all the games and needs all of his old screen captured videos of himself playing and to my suprise he says no I can delete them.

At this point I decide screw it, and I do a full wipe and a completly fresh windows install. I make sure any and all drivers are up to date. I help him reinstall Siege, but install it into his D drive instead, I set up for any and all future downloads from chrome, edge, and mozilla to all go to brand new "downloads" folder I made for him on his D drive. I now think I have covered ALL of my bases and Bam the damn thing does the exact same thing before I make it to car this time. So obviously at this point I have installed HWiNFO I had it save logs while he was playing so I could check them, and well I have highlighted the columns for the items that jumped out at me, but at this point I am trying not to lose my mind. Can ANYONE who obviously is better at diagnosing problems like these than I am check the log file and give me any suggestions. I don't know if there are more settings I need to change for him, if he has a defective or worn out component. I thought maybe he some how had a dead stick of ram, but I now don't think that is the case. I would not think it was an issue of the unit not being equiped well enough to play the game, since his brother's unit handles it just fine. I am hoping there is either something I can remove and fix even if I have to bring it to the office and reflow components, or atleast know which components of the hardware to replace first so I am not just just closing my eyes and throwing darts at the wall hoping to hit the bullseye at this point. I'd prefer to not have to upgrade the graphics card to a 3090 as then I will of course be having to buy 2 of them thanks to trying to keep everything with them equal, but if that is the case I would atleast like to know and stop wasting time so that I can finally get back to adulting and trying to not fall any further behind on deadlines. Thanks in advance I am attaching 1 log file, and if needed I can attach another later this evening. Please someone save what is left of my sanity.

just getting a quick headache looking at numbers, nothing seems too odd to me, except the motherboard voltage readings that are completely off, but that must be a readout bug because it wouldn't boot with 8V insteald of 12.
I'd start with having a look at the windows event viewer to see what happened before it did shut down.

The CPU runs a bit hot but at worst it should throttle down not shut down the whole PC. Acer seems to have locked both PL1 and PL2 limits to 126W which basically disables any boost on the CPU. They must know they installed a shit cooler and heavily limited the CPU power draw ^^'

The nice thing about your situation is you can easily swap parts to find the culprit. However, I had a similar experience many years ago that damn near drove me crazy, and after all the buying new stuff and changing parts here and there, it turned out to be the power/reset switch on my case shorting out. **EDIT**
After looking at the spread sheet, I would advise to swap out the PSU's AFTER verifying that it's not a power/reset switch issue, and then monitor the situation....should be the other son having problems if it is in fact the PSU. **EDIT**
