I scan hdd with Data Lifeguard Diagnostic ( Quik smart cheek and full test )
try chkdsk D: /f /r /x /b ( with /b param what most clear bad sector list)
But tha paeamer is no changet, but all soft ware say's all good and no errors or problems.
other wdgold drive dont have this error, i not try make erase drive( maybe it fix problem )
Read Recovery Attempts is a counter that records the number of logical sectors that have required three or more attempts to read the data from the media for each read command. This statistic shall be incremented by one for
each logical sector that encounters a read recovery attempt. If that logical sector is in the same physical sector as one or more other logical sectors, then:
a) the counter shall be incremented by one for every logical sector in that physical sector; and
b) the counter shall not be incremented for any other logical sector in that physical sector that are read by the same read command.
These events may be caused by external environmental conditions (e.g., operating in a moving vehicle).
EXAMPLE 1 - If there are eight logical sectors in a physical sector and a read command encounters a read recovery attempt
for two logical sectors in the same physical sector, then this statistic is incremented by eight.
EXAMPLE 2 - If there are eight logical sectors in a physical sector and a read command encounters a read recovery attempt
for two logical sectors each in a different physical sector, then this statistic is incremented by sixteen.
The Number of High Priority Load Events statistic is a value that records the number of emergency head unload events. An emergency head unload event is defined as:
a) when the heads are loaded from the ramp to the media for a ramp load device; or
b) when the heads take off from the landing zone for a contact start stop device, in response to one of the following events:
a) processing an IDLE IMMEDIATE command with the unload feature
b) unexpected power loss;
c) device initiated self-protection (e.g., Free-fall Control feature set); or
d) other notification from the host (e.g. SATA pin P11, SATA Direct Head Unload (see SATA 3.3)).
This statistic is incremented by one each time an high priority head unload event occurs
The Number of Reported Uncorrectable Errors statistic is a counter that records the number of errors that are reported as an Uncorrectable Error (if the data contains an uncorrectable error). This statistic shall be incremented by one for each event.
Is this values permanent or if error not be detect again its remove gone ?
i mee read recovery attempts and The Number of Reported Uncorrectable Errors
or need somting delete at hwinfo untility ( some cache ,log etc) for recive new statistic ?
I remember when i was softbads at other drive , after i make erase and reformat it , pending blocks was gone.
now i erase this drive and reformat it.
So simple ignore it if all good and all tests with Data Lifeguard Diagnostic and victoria is succes ?
about clear - i find it maybe possible with smartctl at linux.
I don't recommend clearing that information (if possible at all). Instead you should watch those parameters and if they grow over time, perform backups and check the health.
