Which is the real GPU Wattage?

Hello,

I have been monitoring my graphics card and I noticed that a tab, which is also displayed in RTSS, for example, shows a maximum of 300 watts.
I'm now wondering why the "Power consumption of GPU lines" and "GPU Core (NVVDD) output power" show a maximum of almost 500W!

I'm asking because I also have my GPU undervolted and it shouldn't be drawing that much wattage. Also, because I have a 12vhpwr cable and don't want to run 500W through it.

Thanks for helping.

Those 490W could be very short spikes and that's certainly not the whole power going thru the 12VHPWR.

Power going to the core might be buffered by capasitors to prevent spikes. Power is drawn both from Pcie express bus and 16pin HVPWR cable. From perspective of power supply feeding the card, the most accurate reading is two step up. In your example this seems to max out at 319watt. hope this help.
