I installed a new Seagate 14tb external hard drive, and the drive was clunking every 1-2 seconds and I determined it was caused by hwinfo. Closing hwinfo made the clunking noise go away. I thought it would be good to upgrade hwinfo and the clunking noise is largely gone after upgrading to...
This is a small thing but big quality of life improvement on my end.
I upgraded hwinfo from version 7 to 804 and the scroll bar disappears when you minimize the sensor list. It comes back when you scroll with a mousewheel or click somewhere on the scroll pane. But it was so much faster to see...
I clicked on the option to have the sensors startup when opening the app.
But I want to go back and look at my startup settings. How do I go back and do that?
This is a great app. You do awesome work. Keep up the great work!
Would it be possible to add an option to change the decimal point places and/or have the values rounded off?
For example, cpu core speed shows one decimal point but that is not necessary and takes up screen real estate in the...
I was using hw64_406, but I just switched to hw64_416, and the PCH temperature under version 416 is wrong on my gigabyte z77x-ud3h mobo.
It should be about 53C.
There are 2 PCh temp readings: Intel PCH and ITE IT8728F.
Afterburner is showing my vcore on my 7950 during load as 1.031.
But HWinfo is showing me 1.13.
I have 4.06 running. Is it just my system or is this a known "bug".
Thanks.
So I downloaded the newest version of hwinfo64. It was the portable zip that presumable doesn't install anything and just runs from an .exe.
The previous version was also the portable zip.
But when I ran the newest version, it "knew" my configuration and what temps I wanted hidden and...
Under the sensor status, my cpu speed is too high.
My cpu is running at 4.0 ghz, but the core clock 0 and 3 are wrong.
Some other games even go as high as 7 ghz.
