Blue screen when launching HWiNFO (Detecting ATA drives..)

When I launch HWiNFO, the desktop starts to hang on detecting drives, and then soon I get a BSOD (CRITICAL PROCESS DIED). I only have one drive connected and it's a Samsung 120GB SSD.

Everything else seems fine, it runs Prime95, it installed Windows OK, reads and writes files just fine..

Is this a bug with HWiNFO or is there actually something wrong with my SSD? Thanks.
