I'm wondering what they have against this driver, but many anti-cheat software are very aggressive and can rather behave like a rootkit. Something that without any notice deletes files or drivers from the system... I'd stay away of that.

Yup, I'm aware... To be honest I haven't played on FaceIT for at least 2 years now...

So it didn't immediately come to my mind. I was just googling installation problems in relation to the HWiNFO driver when I came across this reddit thread this morning and when you mentioned something else blocking the driver it somehow rang a bell for me
