Fan bug and error

After I just using fan speed control, and then acidentially press "custom speed", fan were stop working like it's dead. Checking on fan, it's okay (mean not dead on other computers). Even my CPU could reach 100°C and more
Are this apps could harm to our EC, BIOS, or even our Hardware as well? Could you give me the best solution about this?

No, an application cannot permanently damage the system. Which machine do you have?
First try to click the System Auto button. If that won't help, try to completely power off your machine, remove the power cord and battery in case it's a notebook, wait a few minutes and then power on.
