HwInfo64 causing stuttering in DCS World

I've been using HwInfo64 with the gadget on my second monitor to check CPU/GPU usage, etc whilst playing DCS World to try and work out what was causing the intermittent stuttering I was experiencing but ironically it seems it was HwInfo64 itself.

I tested by running on one monitor without the gadget loaded and still had the stuttering, so I alt-tabbed out of the game and closed HwInfo64 and after that I didn't experience any more stutters.

I can't imagine why HwInfo64 would affect the game like this but hopefully you can work out what's up as I do like to use it to monitor stuff whilst playing, or even without the gadget after playing to check max usage, temps, etc.

This can be caused by reading information from certain sensors, especially of the EC type, or certain SMART information (caused by buggy storage drivers). That's also the reason why when an EC type sensor is found, a warning by HWiNFO is displayed.
It is already described in the Known Issues thread, so please check here: http://www.hwinfo.com/forum/Thread-IMPORTANT-Known-Issues

Ah, thanks. I'll try disabling the SMART sensors first and go from there.
