Lenovo Yoga 730-15IWL (81JS) Missing RAM Module

Hi,
I have been using HWiNFO since 2010 and it has been an immensely useful tool. I recently got a Lenovo Yoga 730-15IWL (81JS) laptop and just noted that HWiNFO64 seems to detect only one of the two RAM modules installed in the system. This system has 12 GB RAM installed but only the 4 GB DIMM has details shown (see below). I think this is just a BIOS issue, since the same happens also with CPU-Z, but not sure if you wanted to take a look at this anyway.

FYI, I'm running the latest Windows 10 Home on this system (20H2 with OS Build 19042.685). Attached are the logs.

Thanks!

This laptop might be using some proprietary mechanism to access other modules, but usually in such case none are found.
I'm afraid I don't know how to fix this :(

I found the same issue too on another Lenovo Yoga laptop (Yoga 730-13IKB [81CT]) with 8 GB RAM. On this other laptop, no modules are detected...

This is a similar case - either a proprietary locking mechanism preventing access to DIMM SPD, or those memory modules don't feature any SPD (which is common for some ultra-thin designs).

OK, thanks for clarifying again :)!
I noted that SIV (System Information Viewer) could list the two DIMMS on the same machine (Yoga 730-13IKB) so maybe they are able to use the proprietary method:

That is limited information from SMBIOS DMI and not guaranteed to be correct as it depends on how the BIOS fills it.
You can see the same in HWiNFO under Motherboard - SMBIOS DMI - Memory.
