Lock up at start

The program locks up totally at "Detecting CPU#0" after I have hit the Run button. I can't even end the process and one core in my CPU is at maximum usage until I reboot the system. Have tried the Beta version as well. This happens both with WinXP and Win 7 (on the same machine).

Don' have a debug report.

Try to disable the "Use HPET" option in HWiNFO32 prior to starting the scan. If that doesn't help, attach the HWiNFO32 Debug File (for instructions how to do this, see: http://www.hwinfo.com/forum/Thread-IMPORTANT-Read-this-before-submitting-a-report
