I have HWINFO V 8.24.5700.0
I have 4 sticks of memory. Row 0 & 1 are a pair and Row2 &3 are a slightly different pair
When I look at memory I see this:
Why is Row2 showing without "[P0 CHANNEL A/DIMM 1 ]"?
Is it a HWINFO issue or an MSI MB/BIOS issue?
Identification of DIMM slot isn't always reliable and requires certain criteria to be met. If modules don't contain a valid serial number, HWiNFO might be unable to properly report the slot. That's what happened here, it's not a BIOS bug.
