Row 2 is missing the location as it can't be determined. For this to work accurately, it's also required that the memory module has a unique serial number.

They were bought as a pair, so I assume the s/n are OK. But it may be an insertion issue. I'll have to check that. But I believe it worked ok under W10. Now I have W11.
The memory is indicating 32GB, which is correct.

I have the same problem, I have tried re-seating the memory to no avail. The CHANNEL and DIMM show correctly with a command like 'wmic memorychip', but not in HWINFO64. Everything works fine, so I am not going to consider it a problem.

Wait, I see the problem now, both DIMMS have serial # 00000000. They are Corsair modules, the new ones I added, Kingston, show correctly, with their serial numbers. How odd, and strange that they cannot be shown correctly due to the serial #, even though CHANNEL AND DIMM info is indeed available from for example wmic.

wmic shows the manufacturer as Unknown, while HWINFO can indeed figure out that they are Corsair, same as OP's memory. I guess we can't trust Corsair to have the modules show the correct information. What a surprise from Corsair.
