I have an Areca 1882 with 3 arrays and 1 raid-6 volume per array.
Two arrays have SATA drives, and those two arrays and all the drives from them are showing up under (S)ATA/ATAPI Drives.
Neither the third array, nor any of the SAS drives it's comprised of are showing up, however all three volumes show up under SCSI Devices.
There has also been cases where no drives on the Areca show up at all, but that has only happened once on the current version and I haven't been able to reproduce that with debug logging enabled)
